Warming ginger and cinnamon are balanced by bright lemongrass, cooling peppermint, and aromatic cardamom, while apple, cranberry, rose hips, and fennel add natural sweetness and depth. Finished with delicate white tea and smooth licorice root, this wellness-inspired infusion delivers a comforting cup that can be enjoyed hot, iced, or cold brewed.

Note on Brewing: Whatever the method of brewing you decide to use to enjoy this black tea, always use freshly boiled water. This will give you the best and most consistent results, as the oxygen available to bind with the tea is at its highest level after the first boil.

Traditional Method of Preparation: Measure 3–5 grams or approximately 1 tsp of loose tea and add to one of our tea filter bags or, for best results, use a Perfect Steeper. Add 8–12 oz of fresh water heated to 190°F and steep for 4–6 minutes. (Our preference is 4 grams for 5 minutes.)

 

Iced Ginger Tea Preparation:

Cold Brew (Our Favorite): Measure 5 grams or approximately 1 tsp of loose tea and add to your vessel of choice. Add 12 oz of fresh water and place in the refrigerator for 8–12 hours. Strain and serve. Cold brewing highlights the naturally sweet and refreshing notes of apple, peppermint, and ginger while creating an exceptionally smooth cup.

Flash Chilling:

Step 1, Create Concentrate. Measure 5 grams or approximately 1 tsp of loose tea and add to one of our tea filter bags or for best results, add the tea to our Perfect Steeper. Add 6 oz of fresh water that has been heated to 190 F and steep for 5 minutes.

Step 2, Flash Chill. Place finished tea in freezer for 10 minutes or pour slowly over ice in a 12-16 oz cup.

Traditional: Measure 3-5 grams or approximately 1 tsp of loose tea and add to one of our tea filter bags or for best results, add the tea to our Perfect Steeper. Add 8-12 oz of fresh water that has been heated to 190 F and steep for 6 minutes. Store in refrigerator for 3 hours and serve. Shelf life is up to three days.

Café Method: Create a concentrate by measuring 5 grams or approximately 1 tsp of loose tea for every 12 oz serving. Add to a large strainer or use one tea filter bag for every 5 grams of tea. Add 6 oz of fresh water (for every serving) heated to 190°F and steep for 5 minutes. Remove leaves and refrigerate overnight. Serve over a full glass of ice and dilute with water to taste.

 

Hot Ginger Tea Latte Preparation:  Measure 5 grams or approximately 1 tsp of loose tea and add to one of our tea filter bags or Perfect Steeper. Steep in 4–6 oz of freshly boiled water (190°F) for 5 minutes. Add hot steamed milk of your choice. Oat milk pairs particularly well with the warming spices and natural sweetness of this blend.
